We’re introducing paid plans across Quantix Foundation after a lot of internal discussion and planning. At the start, that was not part of the roadmap, but after reviewing our long-term needs, it became clear that this is the right step for keeping the platform sustainable, scalable, and protected against abuse.
Why this change is happening
The free plans are staying, but as our tools and infrastructure grow, so do the costs of running them. Paid plans will help us cover those costs and keep the ecosystem healthy while still making sure the core experience remains available for everyone.
This is not about taking things away. It is about making sure we can continue building, improving, and supporting the services properly over time.
What will change
Over the coming months, you’ll start seeing both the sites and the systems evolve as paid plans are rolled out.
Some of the main changes include:
Higher limits on selected tools.
More features for paid tiers.
Better protection against abuse.
A clearer structure for long-term platform growth.
The first tool to receive paid plans will be reForge Captcha. Other tools will follow later.
Billing through Stripe
All payments will go through Stripe.
We’re also building our own billing portal so everything can be managed directly from your Quantix Foundation account. That means you’ll be able to handle billing through our own interface without needing to jump back and forth between our site and Stripe.
The goal is to keep the experience clean, simple, and fully integrated.
Free plans stay available
Free plans will continue to exist. We know not everyone wants or needs a paid plan, and that will not change.
On top of that, donations will still remain an option for people who want to support the project without moving to a paid tier.
If you really need more
We also understand that not everyone is in a position to pay. If you genuinely need a higher limit but cannot afford it, you can email us at hello@quantixfoundation.com with your situation and why you need it.
In exceptional cases, we may assign you a paid plan for free. This is not something that will happen automatically or often, but we do want to give people a fair chance when there is a real need.
Trial system
To make things easier to test, we’re also building a one-month trial system for paid plans.
That means each tool can offer a full paid-plan trial for one month, not just a short 7-day or 14-day preview. We want people to have enough time to properly test the plan and see whether it fits their use case.
Moving forward
This is a necessary step for the future of Quantix Foundation. It lets us keep the free options alive while giving us a way to support the infrastructure, improve the products, and continue scaling responsibly.
